Job description

Vewd is the leading independent developer of cloud and embedded software that enables the TV and media industry's transition to over-the-top (OTT) content distribution.

Our products power rich OTT experiences on tens of millions of devices each year, including Smart TVs, set-top boxes, Blu-ray Disc players, Game Consoles and chipsets for more than 60 leading customers such as Sony, Samsung, TiVo, Verizon, and Sagemcom.

Our product portfolio includes industry leading solutions that facilitate simple, reliable OTT experiences for our customers, partners and end users. With over 15 years experience delivering innovative OTT solutions, Vewd is looking to bring on a JavaScript Developer in Warsaw or Wrocław.

Responsibilities

Develop beautiful and smooth UIs in React/Redux
Pursuit for further innovations and support us in embracing market leadership position with such services as Vewd Cloud, Vewd App Store and Vewd Snap
Proactively seek assistance when required, and actively contribute to team activities including design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring
Stay current about industry developments and Internet technologies

Requirements

At least two years of experience as a front-end developer
Knowledge and hands-on experience of UI software architectures, MVC/MVP and others
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), CSS3 and HTML5
Strong knowledge of React and Redux
Basic Knowledge of modern web technologies and trends (service workers, push API, etc.)
Good English skills, written and spoken
