For example when you’re watching YouTube on a Sony TV you may see part of our work. Vewd is looking to bring on a Project Manager/ Team Leader in Wroclaw with technical background in cloud technologies and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Projects description:
We build our products to work on SmartTV devices and set up boxes together with back-office tools meant to be working in a regular browser. The whole system is built with the microservices architecture in mind. There are backend services written in Python or JavaScript/Node.js and frontends built using React/Redux or vanilla JavaScript. You will be part of the Vewd Web Services project management team responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of web-based products.
What will you do:
- Handle software development projects through each step of its lifecycle with quality assurance in mind. From initiation, analysis, design, planning, execution, and delivery
- Build and drive the team to develop a project scope, objectives, detailed plans, and quality metrics
- Keep team motivation and engagement via building trust, inspiring and developing people
- Collaborate closely with people across the company [product managers, department heads, pear project managers, HR], and external business partners or customers
- Monitor and report to stakeholders on the project state
What skills and experience we require:
- Proven professional experience in managing software development projects
- Good expertise in technical aspects and overall system architecture with business awareness
- Experience in people management [solving difficult situations, communicate changes, and other business decisions, motivate & develop people]
- Ability to make decisions even in ambiguous situations and convince others to them
- The attitude we appreciate: can-do team player, who is well organized, self-reliant and self-discipline
- Great English skills
- Technical background
