Job description
Versum develops software loved by professionals in the hair & beauty industry. Our system streamlines the daily tasks of more than 34,000 specialists and allows salon owners to successfully run and expand their businesses. Versum is the most popular salon software in Poland, and we have a strong position in many international markets. We try to constantly grow, improve our solutions, introduce new features and enter new regions.
We’re looking for someone with good understanding of modern web technologies, who will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What we require:
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (we work with React, Redux, React Native, TypeScript and GraphQL but prior experience with specific libraries is not required);
- Solid experience in professional web development (HTML5, CSS and JavaScript);
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them;
- Ability to take ownership of problems and work with high-level requirements;
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical people alike;
- Attention to detail – you believe if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with TypeScript;
- Working knowledge of a MVC web framework.
