Location: Bielsko-Biała, Katowice
Versum develops software loved by professionals in the hair & beauty industry. Our system streamlines the daily tasks of more than 37,000 specialists and allows salon owners to successfully run and expand their businesses. Versum is the most popular salon software in Poland, and we have a strong position in many international markets. We try to constantly grow, improve our solutions, introduce new features and enter new regions.

We’re looking for someone with experience in maintaining and scaling cloud environments (AWS). Our core product is built around GraphQL API built using Ruby on Rails with JavaScript web app and native mobile apps connecting to it. You will be working on ensuring reliability and high availability.
What we require:
- Knowledge of AWS cloud solutions;
- Good understanding of Linux;
- Awareness of CI/CD processes;
- Basic knowledge of at least one backend language (e.g. Ruby/PHP/Python);
- Experience with a relational database (Postgres);
- Effective communication skills – with technical and non-technical people alike.
