Overview

As a Senior Fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer, you will collaborate directly with our CTO and team members in an agile environment. Your primary responsibility will be implementing core business logic and integrations with our partners, playing a crucial role in shaping the architecture and design of our codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Application Architecture: Create robust and maintainable server-side code.

• Backend Services: Implement and maintain clean, scalable backend services using Nest.js.

• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain frontend components using React.

• Full-Stack Solutions: Deliver full-stack solutions with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Product Development: Engage in rapid build-measure-learn cycles to create a world-class product.

• Team Motivation: Inspire the team to overcome roadblocks and ensure timely feature delivery.

• Design Leadership: Lead design discussions, balancing flexibility, expediency, scalability, and performance.

• Technology Advocacy: Advocate for new technologies and enforce best development practices.

• Technical Debt Management: Maintain a forward-looking approach, proactively managing technical debt.

• Collaboration: Work with the CTO, Product Owner, UI/UX designer, and Frontend Developers in a cross-functional team.

Requirements

Must Have

• Experience: Four or more years of experience building full-stack solutions with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Nest.js and React ( or Vue ).

• Design Patterns: Solid understanding and application of Design Patterns and best practices.

• API Design: Experience in designing REST APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).

• Coding Standards: Passion for writing beautiful, SOLID-principled code.

• Resilient Applications: Experience in building resilient applications.

• Service Design: Experience in designing services and/or microservices.

• Containerization: Working with Docker.

• Version Control: Expertise in Git (and platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab).

• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.

• Mindset: An open mind and eagerness to learn.

• Work Ethic: Responsible and proactive work ethic.

Good to Have

• Industry Experience: Experience in fintech, payments, or investment solutions.

• Diverse Teams: Experience working with diverse and international teams.

• CI/CD Automation: Experience in CI/CD automation with cloud platforms.

• Telemetry Tools: Familiarity with modern telemetry tools.

Project Details

• Project: Greenfield Fintech project focusing on cross-border money transfers.

• Supervision: Working under the guidance of a Senior CTO.
