Be part of a young startup called Work for Impact which brings together freelancers and businesses who want to make an impact on the world.
Work for Impact is a freelance platform designed specifically for socially, environmentally responsible and nonprofit organizations. We offer organizations access to a talented workforce and provide exciting paid work opportunities to freelancers. By connecting these organizations with skilled individuals, we aim to bring life to meaningful projects that will have a positive impact on our world.
Tech stack: Ruby, VueJS, Heroku.
The Team
As a member of a small team you will have a tremendous influence on the platform. You can take part in every stage of building the product and have a real impact on it. Currently we have 2 backend Ruby developers and 1 frontend VueJS developer (soon to be 2). The team is truly international. We communicate daily in english.

What will you be doing?
- working in a modern Ruby architecture and clean code
- implementation of new functionalities
- API development
- code review and documentation
- bug fixing
What do we expect?
- good knowledge of Ruby and / or Ruby On Rails
- a few years of experience in creating commercial projects based on Ruby / Rails
- good knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS
- good knowledge of Git
- good communication skills (in English)
