Full Stack (React) Developer

United Robots is a proprietary robotic designer and manufacturer which aims to revolutionize industrial space maintenance with its autonomous robots. We’ve reinvented, designed and built autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) conceived for vast storage area operators i.e., hypermarkets, warehouses, sorting offices or public spaces such as shopping malls, airports or hospitals. Our products are a working example of the expertise in mobile localization, machine learning and computer vision which convert machines into AI devices capable of working without human supervision. We are looking for robotics geeks who will share our excitement and help us to win the run leading to the world where intelligent robots will be as popular as mobile phones.  

In this role, you will have a chance to design and implement infrastructure for the User Interface of our robots. You will have a say in GUI development and occasion to work with cloud-based technology. This is a part of the system which has the biggest influence on how the customer perceives our robots – thanks to you they will love it :).

Your responsibilities:

• Developing custom human-robot user interfaces for autonomous systems, cloud-based configuration and monitoring functionalities and asset management systems
• Prototyping interface options and evaluating end-user experience
• Developing concepts for architecture and implementing the back end of the user-interface layer for robots
• Developing a holistic system i.e. local interface on the machine integrated with a cloud-based configuration system
• Development of web-based solutions portable across different systems and platforms
• Creating high-quality product documentation; including technical documents adhering to industry Best Practice Guidelines
• Attending regular meetings with internal and external clients as and when required.

Job requirements:

Must have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages would be desirable
• 1+ years of practical web-based development
• Strong skills in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3
• Proven experience in ReactJS and TypeScript development
• Knowledge of one of the backend technologies: .NET or Python
• Understanding and experience with relational and non-relational database technologies
• Knowledge and experience with version control

Desirable:

• Experience with developing holistic systems (deployed on both local machines and cloud systems)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure especially: Azure App Service, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, CosmosDb, Azure Function, IoT Hub
• Proficiency in good practices: Design patterns, SOLID, CQRS
• Knowledge and experience with Linux.
