We are looking for a passionate Back-end Developer to join TUI Musement. Previously known as TUI Destination Experiences, which included the independently operated Musement business, the new TUI Musement creates value for its suppliers and customers by rolling out a unique digital platform+ model, which combines a scalable digital platform for sourcing, producing and distributing Tours & Activities, with curated service delivery in more than 50 countries worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Back-end Developer, you will be in charge of expanding, maintaining, and evolving our backend architecture. Backend is the core part of Musement's business. It is used in internal projects but also external ones.
Our main application is based on Symfony4 but on top of that, we have different API gateways written in PHP, NodeJS and GO. All our applications use MySQL as primary data store but also rely on Elasticsearch and Redis.
Musement's backend architecture embraces the "backend for frontend" pattern. This approach allows us to easily connect our backend to a bunch of different client applications: SPA, mobile app or other backend systems.
The whole architecture is on AWS and is managed with an Infrastructure As a Code approach.

Job requirements
What you need:
MUST-HAVE
- PHP and Golang is our focus, but we’ll hire people coming from other tech-stacks as well
- Experience with REST API design, implementation, and maintenance
- Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol
- Very good written and spoken English and communication skills
Bonus points for:
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with Elasticsearch, with serverless tools and IAC, with Docker-based environments, with automated tests (unit, functional, integration)
