Who are we looking for?
Trustedoctor Ltd is looking for a Senior iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile health technologies to their limits to work with our talented team of engineers to design and build the next generation of Trustedoctor application for iOS.
Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to spearhead further tech development at Trustedoctor, with a large remit for creative new product development, whilst working in a cross-functional environment where you'll be encouraged to go beyond the remit of your role to explore other talents. Our team is passionate about helping revolutionise healthcare and empowering patients.
Responsibilities
- Writing clear and maintainable code for iPhone and iPad apps
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Managing the complete mobile development cycle including testing, integration as well as publishing and maintenance of mobile apps
- Collaborating with designers and engineers to build user-friendly, scalable and innovative mobile experience
- Proactively innovate to create new and exciting tools to improve patient care
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of iOS development
- Expertise in Swift 3.1 and the iOS platform
- Experience with building complex applications, based on solid, modular architecture to allow for rapid business requirement changes
- Thorough understanding of the full mobile development life cycle from specification, over implementation, testing, continuous integration and deployment to the App Store
- Knowledge of Issue Tracking Tool like JIRA,
- Expertise with version control systems (e.g. Git), TDD
- Practical knowledge of HTTP and RESTful web services, authorization systems (e.g. OAuth), offline synchronization, and mobile security concepts
- Proficiency in English
- Entrepreneurial mindset
Nice to have
- Experience with Firebase, CocoaPods, RxSwift, Realm, Xcode
- Knowledge of DICOM standard for healthcare
- Experience with file processing, understanding size limitations on mobile devices, and optimizations/workarounds for them
