Job description
Treeline Interactive is searching for an Android Developer to join our growing Software Development Team. We're looking for someone who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you.

About the role:
- The position is based in Kraków. We’re working remotely right now, but we’ll have a physical office in the near future
- It’s a B2B contract between you and our U.S. headquarters
- There are 4 team members in Kraków. We’re currently recruiting for a few different software development roles
- You'll work mostly with team members from San Diego
- You can expect to start immediately, and have an immediate impact
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Team uses Atlassian suite for all aspects of project including Jira, Confluence and Git for development
Requirements - must have:
- Proven software development experience (at least 2-3 years)
- Proven working experience in Android development
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Good communication skills in English - both written and oral. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it means that you should feel comfortable when talking to your team and trying to solve issues
- Flexible time and ability to be available for some meetings when required in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Requirements - nice to have:
- Experience with React / Kotlin would be a nice to have
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
