Job description

Senior .NET Developer

We are opening new positions at the Wroclaw office in the development department. You will work and develop your skills in the group of talented developers who know various technologies.

Travelplanet has been operating on the Polish market since 2001. The company's business includes: sale of tours, airline tickets and hotel reservations along with additional services such as travel insurance and car hiring.

We belong to the Invia Group which is a pan-European leader in online travel services. Our group includes portals from: Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Switzerland and Austria.

Your responsibilities:

developing the functionalities of our travel portals using .NET (core), MVC, MVVM
developing in-company software, such as CMS, CRM, API, e-commerce support tools using .NET (core), MVC, WCF, SQL Server, WebForms, JAVA/SCALA
participating in conceptual work of new projects
helping to choose the right technology
cooperating with developers from different countries
developing JAVA/SCALA skills in a team – optional

Requirements:

minimum 5+ years of hands-on working experience with .NET
practical knowledge of C#, JS (Knockout.js, Angular.js, jQuery), CSS, HTML
practical knowledge of T-SQL and ORM (Entity Framework)
knowledge of design patterns and practical usage of SOLID
knowledge of relational databases and creating SQL queries, Microsoft tools and MS SQL Server
familiarity with big data topics
ability to work in a team
good English and Polish communication skills
willingness to develop skills

Nice to have:

practical experience with JAVA/SCALA
