Senior Front End Engineer

TransferRoom is a profitable B2B SaaS Marketplace on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.

TransferRoom is market leading and has become a must have for key stakeholders in football’s transfer market. It’s used by 700 clubs, including Man City, Liverpool and PSG, 400 agencies and 8000 professional players. It has empowered clubs and agents to facilitate over 4,000 transfers since launch in 2017.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to build design components and product features. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain design system components in React
• Participate in product engineering efforts through design, development and deployment
• Develop new features and improve existing ones based on detailed mockups and clear task descriptions
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem
• Work closely with designers and the business side to understand objectives and translate them into clean code
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues
• Participate in future generation architectural decision-making efforts with other team members

Your experience:

• Experience with React, Redux
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and SCSS
• Strong knowledge of Storybook and Design Systems
• Have a deep understanding of HTML
• HTML pages layout for Web and Email templates, understand the difference
• Responsive pages layout
• Be a quick learner and have a desire to improve technical skills

Additional desired skills and experience:

• Experience in working with TFS/VSTS
• Experience with designing REST APIs
• Layout for Hubspot
• Knowledge and passion for football
