Job description

Hi there! We are Tooploox and we work on projects that improve people’s lives - in line with our mission, we have already changed the way people invest their money, build houses and take care of their health (just take a look at our client portfolio). Feel invited!

What you will do:

  • Work under the supervision of our senior developers in order to write clean code, use good practices and improve your overall skills
  • Cooperate with a team who work on state-of-the-art products with real users and problems
  • Develop an area of competency: a topic that you’ll know enough about to be highly productive without the need for input from other team members

Experience and skills you need to join us:

  • A little commercial experience in working with frontend applications
OR
  • Be a graduate of a university with a specialization in Computer Science or similar and experience in projects with JavaScript or TypeScript

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in implementing basic algorithms and knowledge of elementary data structures
  • An understanding of JavaScript in the areas of closures, asynchronous operations, event listeners, error handling, and debugging
  • Knowledge of the advantages of using types and statically typed languages like TypeScript
  • Experience with React and an understanding of its benefits and pitfalls
  • Experience using CSS and HTML to successfully build eye-pleasing UIs
  • Basic knowledge of network communication (HTTP requests, status codes, REST architecture)
  • Experience with version control tools like Git and a basic understanding of how they work
  • Familiarity with code bundlers like webpack
  • Past experience in writing tests and an understanding of the importance of testing
  • Familiarity with CLI
  • Communication skills and fluency in Polish and English (B2 minimum)

How we work:

We believe that teams and employees are able to manage themselves. That’s why we’ve decided to work in a Holacracy - a flat, informal structure, at the core of which lay the values we care for most of all: collaboration, trust and flexibility. Being a part of a self-organizing, autonomous team gives us real ownership of our work and the possibility to fully develop our potential.

Perks and Benefits:

  • 12 paid days per year (3 days per quarter) exclusively reserved for learning and we cover the cost of your training needs
  • English lessons
  • Flexible working hours and possibilities to work fully remote, hybrid or in one of our offices (Wrocław and Warsaw)
  • You pick your type of employment - B2B or UoP. Every person hired gets 26 days of paid holiday
  • Enel-Med health care plan (dental care and rehabilitation package included)
  • Multisport card
  • Psychologist support
  • Integration and lunch budget
  • Trustworthy hardware - MacBook, BOSE QC 35 II headphones or another, according to your needs
  • Profit sharing
  • Private concierge: Ask Henry
  • Great offices in Wroclaw and Warsaw - pets welcome, comfy spaces, library, games, beautiful design, parties, sweets and full fridges.
