What you’ll do
- Better, faster, cheaper digital maps - our ambition is to reflect the changing world in our map instantaneously
- As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a platform used for the production of digital maps
- Your work will improve the experience of TomTom developers interacting with our system
- Exchange knowledge with our talented engineers and solve a wide range of challenging, state of the art algorithmic issues
- You will be working in the teams that directly manage their products

What you’ll need
- Expertise in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Skills and experience in technical leadership, ability to translate business requirements into changes in software
- Practical knowledge of object-oriented design principles and testing practices
- Practical experience in web services – including high availability, scalability, and good performance
- Excellent communication skills allowing efficient communication in English with colleagues located on-site and worldwide
- Eagerness to learn a lot of new things and continuously improve your skills, open mind for discussion

Meet your team
We’re CPP, which stands for Content Production Platform – TomTom’s proprietary transactional map-making platform that supports TomTom’s maps, and the hundreds of millions of people around the world who use them. We’re a product unit within TomTom’s Location Technology Products technical unit. We develop software for our use and we focus on quality of our solutions. In our team, you’ll work on map production, maintenance, transformation, release access and more as you help create leading mapping technology for a moving world.
Today we are working remotely, and that possibility will stay with us also in the post-Covid future. We also believe that from time to time we will have the opportunity to meet in the office (e.g. once every two weeks) to work together even better.
