Job description

Tom&Co is a dynamic and fast-growing software team who specialise in e-commerce. We design, build, and optimise Magento-powered international websites across a variety of industries, from luxury brands to high street fashion, from lifestyle to gifting with leading British and international retailers.

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead QA to manage a team in planning, designing and implementing testing for the company in our office in the Katowice city centre within 5 minute walk from the central train station.

As a Lead QA you will:

Adapt, develop and own the QA strategy
Define and implement best practices in Test Automation and Manual QA
Organise training and knowledge sharing within your team, and keep improving the QA documentation
Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automatio
Help cultivate a culture in which Developers write and maintain acceptance tests, pairing with Developers where necessary
Mentor junior members of the team and give them the tools to grow their own careers

What you’ll need

Attention to detail, attention to detail, and … attention to detial
Background in hands-on Manual QA or Test Automation
Experience with either Selenium or JavaScript based test frameworks
An understanding of TDD or BD
You have an understanding of eCommerce
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Experience of agile delivery practices beneficial
