Tivix is a team of 70+ engineers, designers and product managers. We're headquartered in San Francisco, and with other offices in New York, Portland, Wrocław, London and India. Our clients are a mix of venture-backed start-ups, Fortune 500 brands, and innovative NGOs (e.g. Macerich, UNICEF, World Food Programme).
Currently we’re looking to add a key engineering team member to our Wrocław office to work closely with our clients and internal team to deliver high-quality software products, features and updates. What you'll be doing:
- defining features and implementation specifications based on business requirements
- developing high-quality software for complex back-end systems and APIs
- developing front-end software solutions to deliver intuitive, fast, and fun web experiences
- identifying enhancements and modifications that improve product quality
- deploying software to cloud infrastructure and managing DevOps
- fixing bugs, adding automated tests and improving usability

You have:
- 4-7+ years of experience with core PHP
- strong experience with one or more web frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony or CakePHP.
- ability of using and developing GraphQL, SOAP and REST API.
- understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
- knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript
- experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc)
- knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker.
- HTTP server knowledge (Apache or Ngnix)
- strong experience with a version control tools like git and leveraging github.
- knowledge of Linux Commands
- experience working in an agile development environment and using agile tools
- desire to be in a fast-moving consulting environment
Nice-to-haves:
- knowledge of Angular JS and React JS or Vue.
- you’ve built something cool on your own because you enjoy doing what you do
- open source contributions (ours at https://github.com/Tivix)
- university degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
