Our mission? Deliver insights that guide stakeholders in product strategy and ensure the health of our services. We're a robust blend of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, navigating the vast dimensions of data collection, transformation, and maintenance.

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Have the opportunity to maintain and extend our data platform (modern data stack)
• Closely cooperate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Developers in your team on the productization of data solutions and building data culture within the company
• Be responsible for monitoring data consistency and running data consistency tests
• Build and maintain a solid, scalable data infrastructure using Containerisation, Continuous Integration/Deployment best practices
• Participate in solution design and code peer-reviews to help establish and share best DataOps practices
• Work across our current stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Docker, Python, Apache Spark, Terraform, Monte Carlo) and play a role in implementing new solutions (Debezium, Apache Icebearg)

You are the perfect fit if you have:

• Advanced SQL – able to create views and join several datasets efficiently
• Intermediate Python (or any other programming language) scripting skills (Pandas, requests, SQLAlchemy, fastapi)
• Experience setting up and maintaining data flows with Airflow (or any other software of this type, e.g. Luigi, Prefect)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) and object stores (e.g. S3)
• Experience cleaning, wrangling, and flattening non-normalized data (e.g. JSONs)
• Ability to correctly understand business processes and translate business requirements into technical ones
• Drive for self-development – following the latest trends and publications in the field of your specialization on an ongoing basis
• Ability to speak English freely

You will earn extra points for:

• Experience requesting data from APIs (JSON)
• Familiarity with distributed data analysis/data processing platforms (e.g. Apache Spark, Snowflake, Dask, Trino, Databricks).
• Experience working with Docker containers.
• Experience using code-versioning systems (e.g. Git) to collaborate on code with others.
