    As a Data Engineer: 

    • You will have the opportunity to implement new and modify existing data ingestion and transformation flows.
    • You will be responsible for creating views in SQL databases (in cooperation with our analysts).
    • You will also be responsible for monitoring data consistency and running data consistency tests.
    • You will closely liaise with Data Analysts in your team.

    Experience and skills that are crucial for us:

    • Advanced SQL – being able to create views and join a number of datasets efficiently.
    • Intermediate Python scripting skills (Pandas, requests, SQLAlchemy).
    • Experience with cleaning, wrangling and flattening non-normalized data (e.g. JSONs).
    • Experience setting up and maintaining data flows with Airflow (or any other software of this type, e.g. Luigi, Prefect).
    • Ability to correctly understand business processes and translate business requirements into technical ones.
    • Drive for self-development – following the latest trends and publications in the field of your specialization on an ongoing basis. 
    • Ability to speak English freely. 

    Skills that would be a plus:

    • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) and object stores (e.g. S3).
    • Experience requesting data from APIs (JSON).
    • Familiarity with distributed data analysis/data processing platforms (e.g. Apache Spark, Dask, Apache Presto, Apache Hadoop/MapReduce).
    • Experience working with Docker containers.
    • Experience using code-versioning systems (e.g. Git) to collaborate on code with others.
