Role description

We are thirty3 and currently, we are looking for a Product Engineering Lead to harden our engineering pillar. You can think about this role using term mini-CTO and this will be valid as it is deeply rooted in the thirty3 way-of-work.

thirty3 is a product house, which means that we as an organization accompany our business partners on the path of building great products. We are building long-term, fulfilling relations with our partners, who needs help and technical expertise in the technology area.

What can you expect from this role in thirty3?

you will work very closely with thirty3 CTO
you will work very closely with our partners' C-level people
you will have a significant impact on thirty3 organization: you will be establishing and improving internal and external processes
you will be responsible for scoping and delivering technical backlog according to product development needs
you will be coding (hands-on mini-CTO)
you will be designing IT system architecture, managing infrastructure and deciding on used tools (together with the team)

As it can sound overwhelming - it is not when you realize that products grow in time - this means that at the beginning infrastructure or architecture doesn’t need to be complex and huge - but you should know when it needs to be complex and huge.

Skills

Required

at least 6 years of experience in the IT industry: building products, applications, internal tools, designing infrastructure and IT systems architecture
at least 2 years of experience in a tech lead role or similar
perfect English
experience with remote-first setup
excellent analytical skills and attention to details
understanding concepts of being agile
understanding the product life-cycle
AWS (EC2, S3, Route53, ALB, CloudFront, RDS)
core skills:
- python3
- web development: any of python-based frameworks with adoption in the IT market (django, django-rest-framework, flask, fastAPI, sanic)
- CI/CD - build automation, tests, linting tools, configuration, advanced deployment schemas
- docker: containerization and docker-compose
- automation tools (any of): ansible, puppet, terraform, nomad, saltstack
- UN*X-like operating system knowledge and tools there: bash, awk, grep, etc.
ability to share knowledge with other team members
ability to mentor others
out-of-the-box thinking

excellent communication skills

Nice to have

interests in Machine Learning and/or Data Engineering
