Junior/Mid Software Engineer (React)

About the company

• The Swarm is a start-up company with offices in San Francisco and Kraków, building a new professional network management platform. 

• The company is generating revenue and has received funding from top-tier VC firms and strategic partners. 

• The team is currently 9 people. The CEO is a second-time founder and the founding team has a strong start-up pedigree with 9-figure exits under their belt. 

  
  

About the role

• We’re looking for a talented software engineer who wants to grow their skills in a start-up with TypeScript/React as a primary programming language. 

• You will join a team of experienced engineers (ex-Uber, ex-Brainly) and you will participate in the development of our front-end applications and our Chrome Extensions.  

• We’re looking for somebody with good fundamentals and a good attitude (proactive approach, creativity).

• At least 2 years of commercial experience in React is required. We will actively support you and facilitate your development, but we will expect you to write coherent code from early on.

• Experience with using AI development tools is required.

• Experience with browser extension development will be a big plus. 

• A good understanding of Git is strongly preferred. 

• A decent command of English is required. 

• Students in their last years of university are welcome if they already have experience in React.

  
  

Compensation and benefits

• Terms, compensation, and contract type are to be negotiated individually.

• Compensation will be a combination of salary and equity.

• Flexible hours and a hybrid remote work policy, with at least one day in the office per week.

• $100 monthly stipend for work-related purchases (equipment, training etc.).
