Our business is powered by our own cutting-edge platform called Team. This platform has been built in-house over the years and supports our entire operations, from recruitments to reporting, budgeting, invoicing, and more. It’s a beautifully designed piece of software with high-quality code, no legacy and running on the latest version of Laravel. This platform has been built by our CEO, who is a passionate developer, and you will be taking over this responsibility from him.
Your role will consist in building new features from scratch that will be used on a daily basis by our colleagues and clients. This position offers great freedom and independence since your role will start from understanding people's needs to turning them into features. It's an exciting opportunity to escape the heaviness of corporate environments and hierarchy and make a real impact! You may also participate in our pre-sales process as a Technical expert, and get to meet clients from all over the world.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build new features for our platform based on PHP/Laravel
- Work closely with all our internal teams to understand their needs
- Develop the most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements
- Write high-quality, scalable and reusable code
- Support our sales team by participating in presales calls with prospective clients from all around the world, and acting as our Technical Expert to help them offer relevant solutions
Skills and Competencies
- Strong experience developing business-grade PHP / Laravel applications
- Excellent sense of User Experience - making people love your software with no learning curve
- Solid architecture design skills and love for great code
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
