Job Description

What will you primarily do in this job:

  • Defining, planning and conducting test automation PoCs
  • Producing Automation Test Strategy - Responsible for to plan and manage the work necessary to perform and monitor automation testing
  • Design and create of low maintenance suite of stable re-usable automated tests, usable both within the Product or Domain and also across Domains and systems in an end to end capacity
  • Must be able to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization
  • Should be able to manage the priorities and being able to pick up the manual testing on need basis and lead the colleagues in such instances
  • Deploying and managing the appropriate testing framework to meet the testing mandate
  • Manage the daily/weekly activities of the Test Automation team members and support the onboarding of new team members
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
  • Maintain and Guide Test Automation Suites Execution and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or Exceeds specified standards and/or client and technical requirements
  • Work with project stakeholders to determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during System development life cycles
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is experienced in:

  •  BDD framework test automations experience using Java Selenium, Mocha & Chai framework using Java script, TestNG, Jbehave and Serenity
  • Bug Detection & Tracking using Bugzilla, JIRA, Zephyr, On Time, MTM and TFS
  •  Creating Runscope journeys using Blazemeter API testing and other monitoring tool
  • Writing Performance Test scripts using Karate & Gatling

Our preferable candidate:

  •  Is creative & proactive thinker making use of current technologies to provide automation infrastructures
  • Is self-managed individual who can actively build the automation frameworks
  • Has ability to evaluate the right automation tool and prepare detailed evaluation report
  • Has ability to conduct POC
  • Has ability to produce Automation Test Strategy
  • Has ability to produce Automation coding guidelines
  • Has ability to review and conduct code walkthroughs
  • Has expertise in providing automation solutions
  • Is strong in designing and coding high efficiency tests for scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
  • Should be strong in re-usability and break-even analysis of the automation related areas
