TESCO technology services teams are responsible for building services exposing APIs that expose functionalities and enable capabilities for various business journeys. They build modern, asynchronous, non-blocking, event-driven services exposing RESTful APIs, publishing and consuming domain events, utilizing a wide range of technologies including:

They build modern, asynchronous, non-blocking, event-driven services exposing RESTful APIs, publishing and consuming domain events, utilizing a wide range of technologies including:
- Java 8, Vert.X, RxJava in customer-facing code with Groovy, Scala, Kotlin and Python in tooling
- Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Linux, Ansible, Python
- Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Apache Kafka
Job profile: New features 70% ; Maintenance / Bug fixing 10% ; Client support 5% ; Document writing 5% ; Meetings 10%.
