Together with MicroStrategy we are looking for Junior Java Developer / Consultant. MicroStrategy is one of the biggest US technology companies focused on delivering advanced analytics solutions in Business Intelligence space. Every day tens of thousands of professionals from companies like Netflix, Facebook or Adidas rely on and use MicroStrategy's software to make data-informed, better business decisions.
Our core tech stack: Java EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API (plus React, Spring, Hibernate on a project basis).

What you will do:
- create and implement highly customised, functional, and powerful web and mobile business intelligence reporting applications (new features development and platform customisation),
- analyse customer requirements to produce estimations of projects,
- participate in estimation, managing, design and implementation of projects,
- develop new features in the client’s Business Intelligence applications (web and mobile),
- develop relationships with customers and partners,
- deliver billable consulting services as a member of the client’s team,
- produce documentation of best practices.
- actively participate in on-site consulting engagements around the world (possible after pandemic is over).
Ideally we would like you to have:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field,
- min. 6 months of experience in commercial web apps development,
- good programming skills in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3,
- experience in work with development teams in agile methodologies,
- excellent interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills,
- after pandemic, willingness to do some work-related travelling (eg. US, Australia, Europe),
- availability to work in the Warsaw office once per week (after pandemic).
It would be a plus if you have:
- experience with Java or JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Spring, Hibernate),
- experience in mobile development (iOS or Android),
- previous experience working with remote teams.
