SAP MM Consultant

For our global client we are looking for a SAP Procurement Consultant to join an existing team of SAP professionals.

Your role

Business Support and Optimization: Offer comprehensive support and guidance to business departments to identify and capitalize on optimization opportunities.

Concept Development and Technical Design: Create innovative concepts for optimal business process mapping and develop detailed technical designs within the SAP MM-PUR domain.

Functional Specification and Implementation: Draft functional specifications to meet business requirements, either implementing solutions independently or coordinating with the development team for execution.

System Management: Oversee and manage existing global application systems (SAP R3 and S4 HANA) and implement necessary adjustments and enhancements for assigned systems and applications.

Project Management: Lead or participate in regional and global projects, providing professional guidance and supervision to project team members and, when necessary, external partners.

Requirements

Professional Experience: Have several years of experience as an IT Consultant in Procurement/Purchasing within the manufacturing industry, with expertise in customizing and implementing solutions.

Mindset and Skills: Demonstrate a strong customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset, with written and spoken English fluency.

Nice to have:

Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in SAP S4 Procurement, cloud applications, and API Management. Familiarity with programming and optimization (ABAP, UI5, Fiori) is a plus.
