    Friendly offer

For one of our client we are seeking an engaged Application Developer to join our team. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for the entire development process, from understanding user needs to implementing and quality assuring the solution. You will work in an agile team setup within Driver Interaction, where you will define and realize the interaction with the driver through displays, stalks, and switches. Our team works with embedded C for core logics and C++/Qt for HMI visualization. A significant portion of the developed code ends up in the instrument cluster (Driver Information Module).

Our current hardware is a 2-processor solution that runs Autosar towards the vehicle and Linux/Yocto towards the graphical engine Qt. We connect with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, and Ethernet communication utilizes SOME-IP, stomp, and display sharing. You will work in a Scrum team of about 8 people, including a dedicated PO and developing Scrum Master. We believe in continuous integration and automatic regression testing, where each team is responsible for its product over time.

While truck knowledge and/or automotive experience is a great qualifier, it is not a necessity. This position typically requires 8 years or more of relevant experience. As an Application Developer, you will perform functional development, meaning requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification. You will specialize in a technical domain (Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine After treatment, Electro mobility, Powertrain control, Control Theory, Mechatronic, Diagnostics) in which features are developed.

You will lead system engineering in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery. You will integrate deliveries from others and be responsible for securing quality and readiness before release. The deliveries are often focused on the early phases of the development cycle, developing technical roadmaps. You will network across the organization, as well as influence the work in the other sites. You will develop acquired competence, as well as participate in the business development.

As a Specialist level employee, you are a specialist in Embedded Software Applications typically obtained through education and work experience. This position typically requires 8 years or more of relevant experience. You will lead on complex group tasks/projects and actively develop team members.
