    Purpose of the role:

    • Administration of processes, policies and procedures that support the procurement, deployment, use, maintenance and disposal of software applications within Takeda.
    • Section of IT asset management that seeks to ensure the organization complies with license agreements and does not overspend on software.
    • Providing insights & Transparency about usage and deployment of software, guidance / recommendations for IT procurement and budget owners, and recommendations from a licensing perspective 
    • Supporting application owners and providing SAM standards


    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Expand the Software Asset Management scope (Tier 1, Tier 2) by working closely with the team and aligning efforts with stakeholders.
    • Actively seek opportunities to reduce licensing costs (e.g. Microsoft, Salesforce) and emphasize transparency regarding costs and compliance.
    • Hold SAM workshops with application owners and procurement to inspire them to optimize their environments, particularly in terms of license management, leading to greater cost-effectiveness.
    • Expand our services (SAM Scope), develop dashboards for transparency, and meet cost saving targets through excellent teamwork and collaboration with our service provider(s).
    • Being committed to inspiring and driving his key stakeholders.
    • Promote the idea of an optimized environment being crucial for achieving cost efficiency.
    • Further improve the fulfillment of SAM commitments by impressing a sense of urgency upon key stakeholders
    • Create appropriate reports for our vendors, and continuously develop and update in consultation with the application owner, to create transparency for compliance and costs.
    • Enable Consumption BUs to obtain information on the basis of the costs for the Consumption services they purchase.


    Requirements:


    Essential

    • 8+ years of relevant experience (Software Asset Management) in a large global organization
    • Fluent in writing and speaking in the English language.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to prepare and execute business meetings virtual, face-to-face, cross functional, local or global to ensure meeting required deliverables.
    • Results oriented; can thrive in a deadline driven environment to address stakeholders’ issues effectively, and make decisions both timely and diplomatically and able to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Ability and willingness to take on additional projects and initiatives as the need arises


    Desired

    • Knowledge of ITAM & ITSM tooling, such as USU License Manager, ServiceNow (CMDB), Tanium, LeanIX
    • Experience in Power BI
