In 2020, we launched a new product - Tagvenue Virtual - a video platform that provides a variety of interactive games that can be played by remote teams.
Our main office in Kraków, Poland is a multicultural hub focused on constant development. Currently, we’re hiring a Junior QA & Product Specialist to join our Product & IT team, working together with a senior UX Designer 4 senior developers, collaborating with our Founders and Operations Teams. This position can be 100% remote, working on a daily basis within our timezone (CET/CEST).
ABOUT THE ROLE
Being a Junior QA & Product Specialist at Tagvenue means being at the front line of product development and helping thousands of customers to have a flawless user experience. You will also work closely with the rest of the IT & Product teams, managing different product development projects.
In this role, your responsibilities would be focused on 2 main areas:
QA Testing: you will be the key person responsible for the quality of our platform, going beyond simple requirements verification and thoroughly testing the product
- Testing new features and finding bugs across multiple devices and browsers, reporting bugs and track the progress of their resolution, using common web debugging and monitoring tools
- Proactively reaching out for information and being vocal about quality standards and good practices
- Participating in periodic new feature release activities, updating our business teams on new functionalities
Product Team support - leading and supporting projects related to different aspects of UX/Product Design or Product development, e.g.:
- tracking Google Analytics and results of A/B tests
- tracking email deliverability metrics
- researching competition
This role would be perfect for you if you think of becoming a UX Designer, Product Designer, or Product Manager someday and have already started learning one of these areas, as there are a lot of opportunities for growth while working on various aspects of Tagvenue products.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- At least 6-12 months of experience in testing in a commercial software environment
- Great attention to detail combined with creative thinking - you think out of the box and can reveal obscure, uncommon, and mysterious testing scenarios
- Excellent communication skills in English (Polish would be an advantage)
- Ownership of your projects - you feel responsible for delivering high-quality results on time
- Focus on quality - you demand a high-quality user experience when testing a product
- Eagerness to learn about QA methodologies, product development, tools, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
- Nice to have: you are familiar with the basics of UX design or project management
