Job description

At #Tagvenue, London based EventTech startup we are a team of energetic, self-driven and positive individuals. We enable our customers to find the best possible venue for their events, by constantly developing our engine and providing the highest quality service.

We're looking for a Front End Developer to work with us on the following terms:

Full-time position
Remote work possible
The only person responsible for the entire front end of the Tagvenue platform, working together with three back end developers and one tester

Requirements:

English language - intermediate level
In-depth HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
Good knowledge of at least one modern JS framework (e.g. Angular.js, React, Reflux, Backbone.js, Ember.js)
Strong skills in applying front-end best practices e.g. responsive web design, progressive enhancement
Strong skills in solving cross-browser inconsistencies and performance optimization
Good Object Oriented skills, including design patterns, Domain Driven Design
Experience with software best practices, like Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration

Soft skills:

Quality focused, clean code
Passion for software engineering and best practices
Constant learner, actively acquiring new knowledge
