Network & Services International (NWI) develops, plans, builds and operates the international network infrastructure of DTAG and produces intercarrier and wholesale services for the sales unit Telekom Global Carrier. 

The unit Digitalization & Strategy empowers NWI in its ambition to obtain a digital production. 

As a DevOps Engineer you implement and maintain software across all stages of its lifecycle. You will work together with highly acclaimed IT professionals and business stakeholders.  

Two of your first projects would be the introduction of test automation for a COTS software and the implementation of a work order tool you will be operating. 

The general responsibilities of this position are: 

• Increase automation degree of NWI through building software 
• Co-design IT solutions in adherence to architectural rules 
• Prototype, conduct proof of concept and pilots 
• Conceptualize, provide and administer entire IT stacks 
• Support steering of quality assurance and deployments in all environments 
• Secure IT compliance, especially privacy and security 
• Steer or run performance tests 
• System operations and Maintenance 

Your profile:

Must-have skills

• Excellent knowledge in modern IT stacks (test automation frameworks, CI/CD, cloud native, on and off premises infrastructure etc.) 
• Good knowledge in requirements engineering, software design, automation and cloudification 
• Proven track record of hands-on involvement in software development projects involving modern frameworks and higher programming languages 
• Intercultural competence 
• Working proficient English (at least B2 level) 

Nice-to-have skills:

• Intense experience with agile types of cooperation and DevOps culture 
• Advanced knowledge in network- and communication technologies and experience with TMF 
• Experience with modern collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Atlassian products) 
• Camunda proficiency 
• German
