About The Role:
As telecommunications company we make profit from providing services such as voice calls, data transmission, direct messaging and recently VoD. This puts requirements on billing solutions to be modern, reliable and always ready to respond to market changes. Our team brings together those capabilities to be manageable, easy to use. Our goal is to build and integrate next generation billing solutions.
In this role you will collaborate with Product Owners, infrastructure specialists, and other teams to identify areas of opportunity where billing solutions daily run could be improved. With ample scope for creativity, technical problem solving and collaboration skills, you will contribute to the growth of T-Mobile.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain microservices related to billing and receivables management
- Extensive use of ITIL in daily work
- Work with Product Owner to determine team velocity
- Understand billing stack and used technologies
- Monitor and troubleshot supervised systems
Requires skills and technology knowledge:
- Relational DBs (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- RDBMS (any)
- Unix shell
- NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, HBase, Elasticsearch)
- Monitoring and alert tools (Dynatrace and Splunk)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in maintaining of rating and billing solutions
- Experience in process automation.
- Experience in high performance computing
- Large database maintenance and optimization
- ITIL awareness
Additional requirements:
- Higher education – preferred IT Engineering (eng. or MSc.)
- Very good analytical and communication skills, creativity and responsibility in the implementation of entrusted tasks
- Proficiency in spoken and written Polish and English
