Reports to: IT Director

As the Head of Cloud Services you will be at the forefront of our cloud transformation journey. You will lead the migration of applications from our internal infrastructure to AWS, automate our DevOps processes, and establish the best possible environment for our development teams. You will also be responsible for strategic infrastructure decisions, balancing on-premise and public cloud solutions, and managing FinOps activities to ensure cost-efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding your team and collaborating with stakeholders across the company.

What tasks await you?

Migration and Automation:

• Lead the migration of applications from internal infrastructure to AWS.
• Automate DevOps processes to streamline cloud infrastructure management.
• Develop and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure automation.

Building Optimal Cloud Environments:

• Design and maintain a robust landing zone for AWS.
• Establish and support processes to facilitate efficient operations for development teams.
• Ensure the cloud environment is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

Strategic Infrastructure Management:

• Make strategic decisions regarding the use of on-premise versus public cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee FinOps activities to monitor and manage cloud costs effectively.
• Implement policies and practices to optimize cloud spending and resource utilization.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the company to align cloud strategies with business goals.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between IT, development teams, and other departments.
