PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop, run and maintain automated tests (mainly, but not limited to web tests) against test plans and schedules.
  • Perform product quality control on different stages using appropriate testing techniques and tools.
  • Create test scenarios and test cases basing on technical documentation and exploration.
  • Perform code-reviews.
  • Create and maintain test infrastructure, test harness and other testware (i.a. documentation, tools, environments, scripts and data).
  • Create and analyze bug reports.
  • Plan and record the test progress and update on the test results.
  • Cooperate with the home feature team, its Engineering Lead, Product Owner and Quality Lead to plan, perform and monitor quality-related activities. Take part in scrum ceremonies.
  • Communicate any relevant information to the team and the management.
  • Analyze and verify business requirements and design documentation.
  • Analyze production bugs, participate in post-mortem process and drive test process enhancements resulting from the analysis.
  • Constantly learn and deepen the testing knowledge and technical skills.
  • Follow best practices of the Quality Control process, drive continuous quality improvements.
 
SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate across Product teams and other departments to resolve issues, ensure service coverage, and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with the Product Management to provide risk assessments.
  • Promote a quality-oriented approach across the company.
 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in software testing 
  • Experience in test automation and automation testing tools, like Selenium
  • Working knowledge of Java for automated tests creation (TestNG or JUnit)
  • Familiarity with GIT and (preferably) Jenkins
  • Good working knowledge of writing SQL DB queries
  • Good interpersonal communication, both written and verbal skills
  • Good problem-solving and logical skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • English at least B2 level
  • Familiarity with common AWS services is a big plus
