Syncron, as the first company in the field of after-sales service and inventory optimization that moved to a cloud-only strategy, is expanding its business in every corner. To facilitate it, we are growing within all parts of our organization.
Now we’re extensively expanding our R&D Office in Poland, where we develop our in-house products in the SaaS model.
To ensure that our software development cycle process is smooth and resilient, we are looking for a skilled Mid/Senior Product DevOps Engineer, that will be cooperating closely with our Software Engineering Teams, as well as global Operations/DevOps Team.
Your role will involve e.g. creating and maintaining services infrastructure in our largest products & close cooperation with software engineers and a dedicated, global DevOps Team.
As you will be the first Product DevOps Engineer, we are looking for an independent and experienced Mid or Senior person, willing to learn and collaborate with various teams.
If you enjoy building solutions for other dev teams and you are passionate about using various tools and approaches to make everyone’s life easier – we definitely need you!
Our tech stack: AWS (e.g. S3, ECS, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, SQS, DynamoDB and many more), Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Git, , Elasticsearch, Python (or another scripting language of your choice)
Development stack includes e.g.: Java 11 (soon v. 17), Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL

YOUR DAILY TASKS:
- Creating and maintaining services infrastructure in Syncron's largest product area (Supply Chain Solutions).
- Close cooperation with multiple skilled development teams who build Syncron's products and services.
- Designing new technical approaches and infrastructure-related solutions to ensure the reliability and scalability of our Products.
- Actively suggesting new tools and solutions to improve Engineering Team’s work – we want to rely on your expert knowledge.
- Prototyping creative solutions and being able to take a project from prototype to production quality.
WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Good coding skills in a modern programming language – e.g. Python, JavaScript/Typescript, Java, or other.
- Understanding of a software development cycle.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud tech stack (ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, etc.).
- Knowledge of: Terraform, Docker, Linux containers, and Git (you will be using them daily).
- Fluency in English.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. using GitHub actions, Jenkins pipelines).
- Experience with writing microservices.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Ansible.
