WHAT DO WE DO: Sylius is an emerging Open Source eCommerce platform. We build software that is used by a worldwide community, including companies like Jägermeister, Athletic Bilbao or REISS.

Job Offer Description:
We’re looking for a Software Developer, with some experience in modern programming, preferably in PHP, but we’ve seen transitions in here ;)
What we need from you:
- 1+ years of professional experience in object-oriented PHP/Java/C# programming
- Understanding of testing and its benefits
- Understanding of code versioning systems (Git preferably)
- English B1+ (read and write code documentation)
- Ability to work full time in Łódź
What will be your additional advantage?
- PHP ^7.3, Symfony ^4.4|^5.0, MySQL, GIT, REST, GraphQL, API Platform
- A habit to do code review and using best practices (TDD, BDD, DDD, etc.)
- Test automation tools (PHPUnit, phpspec, Behat, EasyCodingStandard (PHP CS Fixer + PHP_CodeSniffer), PHPStan or their equivalents in other programming languages)
- Being a cool, savvy person with self-management skills and low attachment to your ego
- Ability to cope with a large number of bad jokes
You will
- be working on one of the biggest polish open-source projects that have a giant community worldwide (2700+ community developers on public Slack)
- have fully tested, CI/CD covered development pipelines
- be responsible for your solutions
- have a possibility of pair programming, problem grooming, event storming, mentoring in a team that has a profound experience in sharing knowledge
- be working with world leaders of BDD
- be doing Daily Scrum in a diversified on-site team
