We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to:

🧑‍💻 Build a product that changes the game on Wall Street.

Project

We are building a financial platform that researches and runs systematic trading strategies for several quantitative analysts. We have 25 people working on the project in three sub-teams.

⚙ Project’s Stack 

Frontend: 

• Languages and frameworks: Typescript, Material UI, ReactJS 
• Tests: Jest, Cypress

Backend (Microservices): 

• Languages and frameworks: Kotlin, Python, Micronaut, Flask, FastAPI 
• Tools and libraries: Docker, Pandas/NumPy, Dagster, Boto3, Jupyter, Gradle, Poetry 
• Tests: Spock Framework (Groovy), Gatling, Pytest, Locust 

Databases: 

• AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL 

Infrastructure/pipelines: 

• Cloud: AWS 
• IaaC: Terraform, Terraspace 
• Pipelines: GitHub Actions

💻 Responsibilities 

• Design and implement engineering solutions to deliver business outcomes, 
• Elicit requirements via direct communication with the client, 
• Present solutions at demo meetings.

📑 Requirements 

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering using Python,
• Knowledge and experience in the FinTech domain, specifically equities, backtesting, and financial simulations.
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English, 
• Ability to collaborate with clients to define requirements, 
• Experience working with IAM, AWS Networking, Compute (e.g. EC2, ECS), Storages (S3, RDS),
