Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Frontend (React) Engineer for a full-time position in Poland.
Our client is a television broadcaster supporting the Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV) initiative, which promotes and establishes an open European standard for hybrid set-top boxes for the reception of broadcast TV and broadband multimedia applications with a single user interface. Now they are looking for a Senior Developer specialized in React.js to accompany the development project of the application (web app) of the new generation of complete over-the-top or console decoders. The web app development team designs, develop and maintain the user interface of the channel decoders. This interface is seen and used by all users of the decoders, and it is the entry point to television (live and replay), exclusive client’s content (current series and films), and client’s VOD. According to the Agile methodology, this web app is developed using web standards (HTML5, CSS3, ESNext). This web app is entirely rewritten for the new 4K satellite decoder project based on the React.js and Reactive Programming (RXJS) framework.

Requirements:
- Expertise in React JS.
- 5 years of experience in JavaScript development (ES6 or +).
- Mastery of functional programming in JS (native ES or Lodash/Underscore).
- Regular practice with Unit Tests.
- Comfortable with the SCRUM methodology.
- Rigorous and precise individual.
Nice to have:
- Experience in TV product development.
- Experience in development with RxJS or variant (RxJava, RxScala, RX.Net).
Responsibilities:
- Provide Front-End development (JS/ES2017, React JS, RxJs, CSS/Less).
- Build unit / functional tests.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Conduct training of junior developers.
- Participate in the preparation and estimation of requests.
- Engage in Agile activities in particular.
- Associate in Backlog reviews.
- Partake in Sprints Planning meetings.
- Involve in daily meetings.
