Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Infrastructure Engineer for a full-time position in Poland.

As an Infrastructure Engineer on the TechOps team, you will be a force multiplier for clients' engineering & operations teams, delivering tooling and infrastructure that not only has a direct impact on day-to-day operations but also helps contribute to the future evolution of Infrastructure & Engineering.

As an Infrastructure Engineer on the TechOps team, you will be a force multiplier for clients' engineering & operations teams, delivering tooling and infrastructure that not only has a direct impact on day-to-day operations but also helps contribute to the future evolution of Infrastructure & Engineering.
Requirements:
- Experience in working in a highly available, dynamic production environment.
- A good grasp of automation, remove manual process bottlenecks to increase efficiency.
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with configuration management.
- Expertise in virtual machine management.
- Knowledge of AWS, EC2, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
- Build out orchestration server orchestration with Puppet/Ansible for the client’s server fleet.
- Help investigate issues alongside the broader engineering team.
- Assist in CentOS 6 deprecation by provisioning and decommissioning machines in the fleet.
- Support build out proper monitoring with icinga2 for the server environment.
- Work with the client’s systems engineers to remotely triage physical server issues.
- Build out the automation and orchestration safeguards.
