We are seeking a seasoned Lead Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Computer Vision to spearhead our team of software and AI engineers. This crucial role involves developing and integrating advanced computer vision features into Surveily's products, with a strong emphasis on innovation and practical, scalable real-world applications. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered computer vision features, ensuring practical application in real-world settings. 
• Mentor a talented team, optimizing new and existing features through agile development processes. 
• Oversee and manage data teams, ensuring high-quality data for model training and validation. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, leveraging advanced AI technology. 
• Implement and refine MLOps workflows to enhance model training and deployment. 
• Stay abreast of AI and computer vision advancements, keeping our solutions at the forefront of innovation and practical application. 
• Foster a culture of innovation, bridging AI research and software engineering to deliver impactful solutions. 

What we need to see: 

• BS or MS degree plus 4 years of commercial experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field. 
• Machine learning fundamentals (linear algebra, probability theory, optimization, supervised/unsupervised/self-supervised ML, etc.). 
• Hands-on experience with designing Deep Learning models. 
• Programming skills (Python algorithms & data structures, debugging, performance analysis, and design skills.)
• Strong experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. 
• Ability to work independently and handle your own work effort. 
• Good communication and documentation habits. 

Ways to stand out from the crowd: 

• Experience with ML model optimization techniques such as Neural Architecture Search, Pruning, Distillation, Quantization, Conditional Computation, etc. 
• Experience with Synthetic Data Generation, such as NVIDIA Omniverse. 
• Experience with any of the following: Triton, Docker, Kubernetes, CUDA/OpenCL, MLOps. 
• Experience with delivering products.
