Job description

SuperControl is a part of InhabitIQ that operates a unique collective of tech-forward companies serving the residential, commercial and vacation rental industries.

The IT Service Desk Agent will provide front-line support for employee email, user accounts, printers, and phones. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. 
The right candidate for this position will have a passion for improving the environment while building an excellent rapport with all staff. 

Functions and Responsibilities
 

  • Provide support to employees on a variety of hardware and software issues 
  • Provision and support user accounts and permissions 
  • Troubleshoot employee issues with email, Windows, printers, and phones 
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues including wireless networking and VPN 
  • Receive and document all inbound tickets, emails, phone calls, and in-person requests for IT services 
  • Assist with regular hardware and software inventory audits 
  • Document, track and monitor technical problems and solutions 
  • Help other team members when necessary 
  • Suggest new procedures to reduce repeat issues 
  • Assist with the procurement of devices for new hardware deployments. 
  • Help with onboarding new employees and ensure equipment is shipped out to remote offices and employees on-time. 
  • Facilitate call for support to system administrators in the event an issue is encountered that needs to be escalated. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively 
  • Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Highly dependable and professional 
  • Excellent problem solving and listening skills
  • 2 years prior relevant experience
