    Friendly offer

A German-based SaaS provider that digitalizes daily operations for personnel and building service providers in Europe. It offers end-to-end solutions to streamline processes such as recruitment, time tracking, payroll, invoicing, and reporting. The company aims to enhance efficiency, save time, and reduce costs through comprehensive digitalization, supporting both personnel services and cleaning services industries with specialized software solutions.

The company is aiming to build another team in Poland, and they are starting with a Senior QA Engineering position. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their new API gateway, which seamlessly connects both SaaS and on-premises customers through a modern REST API.

This role requires a deep understanding of API testing and the ability to work closely with technical and product stakeholders to refine data contracts and clarify the usage of specific API fields. It is not just a technical one about writing tests but requires a proactive mindset, where you have the initiative to solve problems around data contracts and field usage, interact with colleagues across different teams, and dive into the details until a solution is found.

We are looking for someone ready to relocate to Wroclaw or Gdansk in eventually (we will support you in this) and is ready for a hybrid work then. You will work at a well-established and dynamic Germa company with many interesting projects and opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in API testing and automated QA engineering.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical ones. Project planning and project management skills to track progress and TODOs across different stakeholders are a plus
    • Experience producing high-quality documentation of APIs (OpenAPI specs).
    • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, particularly with Azure DevOps and GitHub actions.
    • Experience with Postgres databases around table structure, basic SQL, and field mapping.

    Key Responsibilities:

    API Testing Expertise:

    • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for REST APIs.
    • Develop and maintain automated API test scripts to ensure the reliability and performance of our API gateway.
    • Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to define and refine data contracts for the API gateway.
    • Clarify and refine the usage of specific API fields to ensure clear and effective communication between different APIs.

    Documentation:

    • Create and maintain top-notch documentation for REST APIs using the OpenAPI specification.
    • Document various authentication flows and ensure they are properly implemented and tested.

    Database Mapping:

    • Work with Postgres databases to identify and map fields across different database systems.
    • CI/CD Integration:
    • Work with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure and GitHub, to integrate automated tests and ensure smooth deployment processes.

    Nice to Have:

    .NET and C# Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with the .NET stack and C# to effectively collaborate with developers and understand the backend systems.

    End-to-End Testing:

    • Experience with end-to-end testing for user interfaces to ensure comprehensive coverage of the entire application.

    Mobile Testing:

    • Knowledge of mobile testing, including Flutter and native development, to extend testing coverage to mobile platforms.

    Project Management Skills:

    • Ability to discuss timelines and manage project dependencies to ensure the timely delivery of necessary requirements.

If you join the team, you´ll be part of a dynamic team that is transforming the way our customers connect and interact with our products through cutting-edge API solutions.
