Backend / DevOps Engineer

A new mobile game studio working on a quality hybrid-casual games is looking for Senior Backend / DevOps Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for a mobile game
• Manage game cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Implement and extend game functionalities on the server side (Nakama https://heroiclabs.com/nakama/) and integrate them with the client
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain a polished gaming experience
• Conduct regular code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the game's software systems

Requirements:

• At least 3 major commercial projects shipped from scratch to release
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT or GameDev
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Strong knowledge of the Go programming language
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Experience with AWS cloud services

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Nakama
• Knowledge of Unity
