We’re looking for JavaScript (React & Angular) Developer to join our team in Warsaw or remotely.
Sunscrapers is a consultancy specializing in custom software development, full-stack web development, data engineering, and technical staff augmentation.

Your first project:
Our client’s company was founded in 2000 as BA Venture Partners, and functioned as the venture capital arm of Bank of America, where it raised its first two funds.
Right now they offer applications for investors and a generally available application for startups, mainly for those in the early stages of development. They improve the decision-making process mainly by analyzing financial data, and the results added to the database (eg in the investor's "portfolio") are compared against each other. The analysis takes into account various metrics / data that users (investors / business owners) enter into the system.
Currently we are building a completely new team that will work on further development and improvement of the platform.
The team will consist of:
- 2x Mid / Senior Frontend (Angular / React) Developer
- Senior Python (Django) Developer
- DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker)
- QA (Cypress)
- and PM
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of agy AngularJS (v1) services (until they’re rewritten)
- Recreating existing AngularJS (v1) apps with React
- Close collaboration with Designer and Product Manager to assess new designs feasibility
- Helping to design and implementing new features
- Taking care of system security (regular penetration tests every 6 months) and regular dependencies updates
- Crafting beautiful UI with usability in mind
- Helping and training QA team with cross browser and automated testing
What’s important for us?
- At least 4 years of commercial experience
- Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Proficiency in React and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in CSS and related tooling (Sass or Less)
- Experience with designing and consuming REST APIs
- Attention to detail and sense of aesthetics, from clean code to beautiful UI
- Experience in creating automated tests (unit and e2e)
- Fluent command in spoken and written English and Polish
You will score extra points for:
- Experience with AngularJS (v1) and its tooling
- Proficiency in using Docker and docker-compose
- Experience with tools like Figma
- Experience with Cypress or equivalent tools
- Being familiar with any of established design systems
