Who are we?

StratsLab combines top-level IT skills and deep financial knowledge to deliver innovative products and services. We are a Developers Driven Company, you will meet people with high programming skills and participate in exciting projects here. StratsLab was founded in 2015, by People with international experience - alumni of Warsaw University, Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics (MIM). We worked at top-tier investment banks and hedge funds in London for several years. We implement projects for clients from the financial sectors across Europe and the US. 

Your role 

You will be a part of the international team, spread across NY, London, Warsaw and Tokio, working on the development of in-browser IDE, based on VS Code. Your proactivity counts - you will have an impact on what and how you’re doing.

Our expectations

➔ Minimum 3 years of experience with TypeScript programming

➔ Minimum 5 years of backend programming, eg. Python, Go, Node.JS

➔ Good knowledge of software design, data structures and algorithms

➔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with diverse international teams

➔ Very good command of English

Nice to have:

 ➔ Basic React knowledge

 ➔ Experience in writing Extension to VS Code

This position is marked as "Partly Remote" - what does it mean?

In short, that means that although there is no limit on remote work, we are looking for people who want and plan to work from the office most of the time.

We value interpersonal relations and the ability to solve problems together while standing next to a physical whiteboard. We are looking for people for whom the ability to work together in a single location is a feature, not a bug. We do want to ensure that when you come to the office, there will be other people with a similar mindset.
