StratsLab is a strategic IT consulting company where you will meet people with high programming skills and participate in exciting projects. StratsLab was founded by MIMUW alumni in 2015. For several years, we worked at top-tier investment banks and hedge funds in London. Now we implement projects for clients from the financial sectors across Europe and US.

 

 

The backend is mainly in Python. There are also projects in C++, Go, Rust, and TypeScript. 

 

You can expect to spend around 70%+ of your development time in Python and the rest across a subset of other mentioned languages according to your preferences. 

 

We expect you to be able to be comfortable reading code in any language. We do not expect you to be an expert in all of them, but we do require you to be OK doing a minor change from time to time in a tech stack you aren't using daily (don't worry, it will be reviewed before merging).

 

We are multi-cloud and are currently in production with AWS and Azure. GCP implementation is starting later this year.

 

 

You configure your work environment yourself, and you have complete freedom in using the software that makes you happy and productive. The default is macOS, but we had a case of someone using Gentoo, so the sky is the limit. As for tooling, we use Git, Jira, Slack, GitLab CI / CD.
