Senior JavaScript Developer with Angular and React

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer (with Angular and React) to join for an initial 6-month contract with the possibility to extend and contribute to the development of high-quality web applications.

As a JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using modern web development frameworks. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities, ensuring the highest level of performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, with a strong focus on Angular or React.
• Implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript with proficiency in object-oriented design principles.
• Strong experience with web development frameworks, specifically Angular or React.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, especially using Git.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Between 5-10 years of relevant work experience in JavaScript development, preferably in a similar role.

Please note that this role requires working from the office 3 days a week.
