Job description

StorkSys, in cooperation with Kadme (www.kadme.com), is working towards integrating new technologies like machine learning

and additional cloud components in Kadme’s portfolio, to improve the Whereoil software platform and make it

valuable outside the oil and gas industry. Our engineers are enjoying the versatility of being in a small company

with high responsibility and varied tasks.

Our personnel works from 2 different locations, the main Kadme headquarters in Stavanger (Norway) as well as
a support and development department, operated by StorksSys, in Szczecin and Kraków(Poland). Currently we are looking
to expand the team in Szczecin with a new support engineer.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve continuous integration, software deployment and system monitoring,
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues,
Linux administration and maintenance,
Report software bugs and customer product enhancements,
Contribute to system documentation and/or other documentation to be provided to clients,
May act as a technical focal point in cooperative relationships with other companies.

You should:

Understands the process of continuous integration and software deployment,
Have problem-solving skills,
Be comfortable with working within a team,
Have a reasonable level of spoken and written English,
Feel the need to automate the workflows,
Are familiar with:
- Networking in general
- Linux - (RedHat/CentOS)
- Virtualization - (KVM)
- Web server maintenance and configuration - (Apache)
Know scripting language of any kind
Preferably have experience managing and monitoring cloud services (Azure, AWS).
