Connecting clients to markets – and talent to opportunity.

With 4,300 employees and over 400,000 retail and institutional clients from more than 80 offices spread across five continents, we’re a Fortune-100, Nasdaq-listed provider, connecting clients to the global markets – focusing on innovation, human connection, and providing world-class products and services to all types of investors.

Whether you want to forge a career connecting our retail clients to potential trading opportunities, or ingrain yourself in the world of institutional investing, The StoneX Group is made up of four segments that offer endless potential for progression and growth.

Business Segment Overview: Empower individual investors – and yourself – in the world of retail through a range of different financial products rooted in innovation and market intelligence. From FX and CFDs to precious metals, master an exciting world of wealth management tools.

Position Purpose: We are looking for a quality assurance automation engineer with 3-5 years of experience building test harnesses and automated tests to join our Account Management team in our new office in Kraków. The Account Management team is responsible for the client facing web applications and internal API’s to provide client acquisition, onboarding, and servicing solutions. You will be working as part of a scrum team, focused on high quality deliverables to meet business requirements.

    Technology Ecosystem:

    • Front-End: HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS/SASS; Angular or React
    • Back End: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 6
    • Architect: Microservices Architecture

    Primary duties will include:

    • You will work in a self-contained scrum team located in Kraków to deliver new components of the system that is developed in United Kingdom and Poland
    • You will take an active role in the entire sprint process from estimation and design to feature rollout and you will work with and pair with other members of the team of all disciplines, BA, DEV and other QA engineers
    • We build our platform with quality in mind. You will build upon Unit Tests using .Net technology stack (C#/Selenium/Specflow) provided by the developers to ensure strong automated functional and integration coverage of new features while also ensuring up to date automated regression coverage for existing features
    • You will work with the product team to ensure end to end functionality meets initial expectations before a new feature is shipped
    • You will be expected to maintain a high level of conduct, ethical standards and values as well as maintain an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training, making requests for updates or development as required
    • Considering all tasks mentioned above the real ratio of creating automated tests vs other tasks (requirements analysis, scrum meetings, manual checks, releases) is around 30% of your daily duties

To land this role you will need:

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • 5+ years QA experience working on web based applications
    • 2+ years of extensive automation testing experience on .Net stack web applications
    • Experience working with Restful APIs
    • Experience working with distributed, multidisciplinary teams
    • Ability to build and maintain automation frameworks using .Net/C#/Selenium
    • Ability to communicate in English on a daily basis

     What makes you stand out:

    • Experience with Ecommerce/banking/trading based applications
    • Testing of mobile applications

    Working environment:

    • Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days from the office) our Cracow office will be located at Mogilska 35 street.
