ABOUT THE PROJECT:
For our German client, that connects the world of Renewable Energy with Finance, Stepwise is building three SaaS platforms. Our team is multidisciplinary (UX, FE, BE, QA) and currently we are planning to scale up in all domains. We have designed and built the products from scratch and it is definitely long-run cooperation.
We are looking for Senior Backend developers that are willing to join our experienced team that works in Scrum methodology in close cooperation with the Product Owner. Project is challenging and advanced from a technology point of view. Requires constant experiments and proofs of concepts on the go. What is important for us, is to find a person that has a strong team player spirit and has a serious approach to quality and testing. Previous experience in communication with clients is a must.
Tech Stack in details: Kotlin, Spring Boot, Gradle, Kubernetes, Docker, kotest ,testcontainers, Retrofit, AWS, Keycloack, PostgreSQL, Drools, Exposed, Flyway (FE based on React & Typescript, TA based on Cypress).

WHAT WE EXPECT
- Hands-on Java or Kotlin programming experience (preferred experience with Kotlin)
- Very good general programming knowledge
- Very good knowledge of Spring Boot
- Good knowledge of Docker
- Experience with K8S
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience in creating complex solutions
- Good knowledge of English is a must (spoken, written)
NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of a second JVM language (preferably Kotlin)
- Knowledge of one of the cloud platforms (preferably AWS or GCP)
- Willing to work in close cooperation with Client
- Willing to write tech blog posts and participate in meet-ups
