Role Description:
We are looking for a Frontend Developer for Stepwise, Warsaw-based Software House, who would like to join an engineering-oriented company. Our mindset is strongly Developer oriented and what’s more important we believe in constant education and new technology discovery.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of commercial experience in Front-End development (React)
- Good understanding of Git
- Knowledge of best programming practices and design patterns
- TDD in React
- Knowledge of the whole development cycle (building, testing, deployment)
- Understanding of REST API principles
- Understanding of state management solutions one of Redux/MobX
- Knowledge of Agile software development (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Team player skillset
- Good knowledge of English is a must (spoken, written)

Currently, our portfolio includes 5 React related projects from industries such as: Fintech, Real Estate, Data Analytics / Taxonomy and Green Energy. Our clients are based in: Norway, Germany, Finland, Ireland and France.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new features in Clients projects
- Developing Application from scratch
- Developing and improving automation of common repeatable tasks and processes
- Working closely with Client and Stepwise to constantly improve our software delivery process
- Helping identifying problems in the system
Our Hiring Process:
We have a quick and engineer-oriented hiring process. It will take 2 interviews that lead up to a potential offer.
- Firstly, we will assess your CV. If we think there might be a fit we will invite you to a screening call. Our aim is to get back to you in 5 days, however usually it’s 2 days.
- For the screening call we will schedule a short meeting with one of our engineers. This call will be an opportunity to chat about our mutual expectations. A part of this conversation will be held in English. If we think our expectations match we will invite you to a tech interview
- During the tech interview you will meet two engineers from our team. We won’t roast you with whiteboard questions, what we will want to discover though is: how you tackle the day-to-day challenges of a senior engineer
